Engineer to join our Global Information Services (GIS) team in our Islandia, NY
World Headquarters. GIS provides CA employees and customers with powerful

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Senior Network Engineer candidates must exhibit a high degree of
professionalism, customer service and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include
designing and deploying company LANs, WANs, data, VOIP, video and wireless
networks, including, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
The Senior Network Engineer will also monitor the business environment and
assess technological trends and advancements to determine the feasibility of
integrating new technology into the existing corporate infrastructure.
Candidates should have CCIE level routing skills: mainly EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
along with VOIP, network security and IPsec VPN knowledge. Must also have an in
depth knowledge of data communication terminology, equipment and applications
and in depth knowledge and working experience with various network protocols,
i.e., TCP/IP, IPX, AppleTalk and DEC Net. The qualified candidate will also
have the ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot large scale LAN's and
WAN's exceeding thousands of nodes. Knowledge of the principles of project
management and the ability to develop, execute, and monitor project plans is
required. Business Travel of approximately 10% is expected for this position.
BS degree in related field and CCIE/CCNP certification highly preferred.
