Position: Security Engineer
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

NO relocation NOR travel expenses for face-to-face interview will be provided.

Direct-Hire, Full Time Employment opportunity (FTE)
Salary Range: $70 - $75k/annual ++
Engineer will be a member of the UNIX Security Engineer Team.
Will be responsible for supporting UNIX and Linux infrastructure project
initiatives from a security perspective - ensuring that the client's
Information Security Standards are met during the design and implementation
phases.
This engineer will be responsible for reviewing existing Information Security
Baselines and for creating new Baselines as the need arises.
Position is also responsible for the support and rollout of PowerBroker and
does require participation in the on-call support rotation.
Minimum Requirements:
* Min 5 years UNIX and LINUX security administration
* Experience in operating system implementation
* Project management experience
* Expereinced with UNIX security tools including UNIX privilege brokering and
management
* MUST have a solid understanding of networking technologies
* Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Desired Skills:
* Bachelors Degree is HIGHLY desired
* Candidates with CISSP or GIAC cerification preferred
* Any experience iwth VAX, Stratus or AS/400 Systems administration is a plus
