Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Islandia, New York, United States

Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE:CA), the world's largest

reliability and efficiency of enterprise IT environments. We are currently
looking for a qualified Sr Software Engineer to join our BrightStor DB and
Applications Development team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will act in the capacity of a lead developer
coordinating the development and quality assurance activities for the
designated modules. Candidates will participate in design, coding and testing
of these modules. You will create and test potential solutions using rapid
prototyping models. Candidates will also set up software configuration control
and software development environments. You will also participate in all design
reviews.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have 4+ years experience with C++ development. You must have
strong object oriented design and compiles with documented coding standards.
You will also have strong working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Solaris
development. C#/Net coding would be a plus. Candidates will have working
knowl3edgd of communications protocols, abstraction layers, open source
technologies and object libraries. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or
equivalent experience is preferred.
