Position yourself in a world class security Enterprise technology company 
selling the best network security products around. This is an ideal role for 
someone who is passionate about network security, a great salesperson, is 
business savvy and can communicate at the 'C' level.


We are conducting a high-level search for a successful technology sales 
professional to cover the Houston marketplace. This position will have a 
specific focus in promoting and selling advanced security solutions focusing on 
Vulnerability Assessment, Vulnerability 
Management, Risk Management and Security Information management. Target markets 
are the educational, corporate and enterprise markets, working direct and in 
conjunction with partners.



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Sales Experience
College degree in business desirable, equal professional experience acceptable.
Quantifiable track record of success, demonstrated by growth, promotion and 
increasing responsibilities, territories and quotas
Exceptional & consistent quota achievement track record with $3 million-plus 
annual quota
Minimum of 10 years of relevant field sales experience in networking &/or 
network security technologies
Must have solid territory-related track record in Enterprise and Corporate 
spaces
Solid track record of team-based selling
Working experience at vendor space is highly desirable
Working experience at security integrator is highly desirable
Experience with both direct and indirect selling (through channels) and/or 
familiarity with the channel sales model and team selling environment
Appetite for engaging in new and advanced selling methodologies
Formal sales training: Miller-Heiman, Solution Selling, Siebel 
Target Account Selling, etc.
Strong presentation skills to C level audience is essential
Ideal candidate profile will offer strong business acumen, 
integrity, professionalism, and customer relations skills


 Technical Leadership
Minimum 10 years of collective relevant field sales experience in data 
networking and security solutions
Expertise in Vulnerability Assessment & Management solutions 
strongly preferred
A thorough understanding of the security ecosystem is highly 
desirable
Network and host-based intrusion detection/prevention 
understanding is highly desirable
Security gateway, or firewall sales experience is highly desirable
Data networking sales experience highly desirable
Appetite for adopting and engaging with new emerging and advanced technologies
Ability to sell and promote expert services solutions, in conjunction with 
product offerings
