Position: Database Security Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-09-26
Oracle DBA and UNIX System Administrator needed for growing, profitable
technology company. The successful candidate will be responsible for all
aspects of the production database environment including Solaris and Oracle 8i
and 9i. The candidate will further be responsible for deploying regular changes
to the production and staging environments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Oracle and Solaris and working in a hosted datacenter;
Strong experience with database migration, scripting and backup procedures for
Solaris/Oracle servers; Working knowledge of Oracle Advanced Replication and
Oracle DataGuard; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as
documentation is a significant part of this position;
BS in Computer Science or related engineering/science discipline.
