Position: Disaster Recovery Coordinator
Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-09-26
Contingency Planner/Disaster Recovery Engineer (Mid—Senior Level)
· US Citizen (REQUIRED)
· SECRET Clearance (REQUIRED)
Develop Contingency Plans (CP), Continuity of Operations (COOP), Business
Impact Assessments (BIA), and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) for government
organizations and IT systems and processes. Assess and evaluate
organizations’ mission and resource requirements, IT architectures,
identify recovery options, and develop detailed recovery procedures for
mainframe, mid-tier, and Web-based systems. Assist in determining requirements
for alternate processing and back-up sites for data centers, Information
Technology Centers (ITC) and headquarters operations. Develop and support COOP
and DRP training, exercise, and testing programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
3-5 Years experience developing, implementing, and testing COOP, CP, and DRP.
Excellent understanding of mainframe, mid-tier, and Web-based systems running
in various systems environments
Familiar with NIST SP 800-34, NIST SP 800-30, NIST SP 800-53, Federal Standards
(PDD 67, FPC 65, and FPC 67)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with operations, support and customer groups
Ability to multi-task and provide technical leadership
Security and Project Certifications a PLUS! E.g. CBCP, CISSP, PMP, CISA, IAM,
Etc.
