Position: Security Architect
Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Yahoo is looking for an outstanding candidate to become the security architect
on the Yahoo! Messenger client team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Responsibilities will include:
* Provide security-related guidance and education to the team
* Work with engineers and product managers to design secure products
* Identify sensitive code paths and organize audits and code reviews accordingly
* Track and manage to completion any known potential security issues
* Implement and/or enforce policies from Yahoo's core security team
The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, and software security
experience, and a passion for software security. Creative problem solving,
analytical, and deductive reasoning skills are critical for this position.
Position requirements:
* B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science
* 5+ years of C/C++ development experience
* Experience in software security
* Experience in cryptography
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Ability to track and manage numerous parallel activities
* Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
