Position: Security Engineer

Radius, LDAP, Windows Active Directory, 802.1x
The authentication group is responsible architecting / designing / implementing
the authentication protocol framework used for passive and active
user-authentication in the system. The candidate will have experience with
windows active directory, LDAP, RADIUS policy authorization agents. Web
redirection authorization and 802.1X. Experience with communication with host
based patch reports, virus scanners using Extended Authentication Protocol.
Required skills:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/EE.
- 8 years experience in analysis, and software development on networking devices
- 5 years experience in Windows A/D, LDAP, RADIUS, etc policy framework design
and implementation
- 2 years experience as a project lead in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of Linux OS, communication protocols, data flow architectures.
Must be a self-starter and must be comfortable working with small teams and
multi-task. Must have a track record of shipping product into production
networks. Linux experience a plus. Must have good verbal and written
communications skills.
TCP Reconstruction, IP Reassembly, Application Decode
Ideal candidate has expert knowledge of the TCP protocol. Requires experience
with rewriting a fast TCP stack to reconstruct (follow) a TCP stream.
Experience with TCP proxy and splicing is a plus. Knowledge of IP reassembly,
issues related to attacks on IP reassembly. Prefer someone who has experience
in the correlation of security-relevant network behaviors in real-time.
Required skills:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/EE
- Minimum 6 years experience in application decoding, analysis, and software
development.
- Expertise in IP stack, from Layer 3 to Layer 7 protocols.
- Experience with multi-processing, statistical methods, network analysis.
- Knowledge of Linux OS, communication protocols, data flow architectures.
The sought after candidate will have experience in decoding of application
protocols from packet traces. A sample of protocols include:
Instant messaging (Aol, Yahoo, IM)
Authentication algorithms (Radius, LDAP, KERB, Rlogin)
File transfer algorithms (Samba, CIFs, NFS, FTP)
Microsoft NTLM/Active Directory Decode
MS SQL Decode
VoIP, Streaming Audio, Streaming Video
Experience in stateful firewall design preferred (application firewall
knowledge is a plus).
Experience with performance optimization of above software.
Experience with multithreaded software and multiprocessing is necessary.
Experience with network processor programming is a plus.
Must be a self-starter and must be comfortable working with small teams and
multi-task. Must have a track record of shipping product into production
networks. Linux experience a plus. Must have good verbal and written
communications skills.
Sr. Engineer Application Decode
Good understanding of Layer 7 application protocols such as HTTP(s), HTML,
Javascript/VBScript, Java and XML. Good understanding of
Authentication/Authorization technologies: LDAP, RADIUS, ACE, and NTLM/Active
Directory. Good understanding of networking TCP/IP.
Desired Skills: Experience with network communication aspects of enterprise
applications such as Citrix, Siebel, SAP, Lotus, Oracle etc. Solution Domain
expertise in packet level decoding of the communication of above protocols.
The ideal candidate would have worked on application level decode of packet
captures on tools such as Ethereal, Sniffer Pro, Appera. Experience in the
following areas is also desired:
Centralized Network Management and/or Managed Service Provider Infrastructure
Solutions.
End-to-end Network and Application Security.
AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Auditing).
Required skills:

Firewall, ACL mgmt, Malware detection
Ideal candidate has an in-depth development knowledge of intrusion detection,
firewall and encryption applications. Requires a working knowledge of network
and system exploits, vulnerabilities and hacking techniques, and methods of
mitigation. Knowledge of denial of service protection. In-depth development
knowledge of information security products and technologies (Intrusion
Detection/Prevention, URL filtering, Firewall & ACL configuration, encryption
technologies/VPNs/PKI/IPSEC, etc.).
Required skills:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/EE
- 8 years experience in Network Security architecture, analysis, and software
development.

Software Engineer: Network Policy Engine
The network policy group is responsible for binding network connection events
to applications and users, and communicating and visualizing to network
management platforms. Responsibilities include expanding policy definition
language, define network policies. Compiling the policies into actionable
events, and enforcing on those events. The ideal candidate will have experience
with windows active directory, LDAP, RADIUS policy authorization agents. Web
redirection authorization and 802.1X. Experience with communication with host
based patch reports, virus scanners using Extended Authentication Protocol.
Required skills:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/EE.
- 6 years experience in analysis, and software development on networking devices
