Position: Information Assurance Engineer
Location: Seattle, Washington, United States
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2005-09-21
Network Services Team:
Familiar with the following:
Ø Basic familiarity of differences and functionality of various
LAN technologies
Ø Basic familiarity of basic routing protocols, Specifically TCP/IP
Ø Basic familiarity with design and best practices with Access
lists
Ø Basic familiarity with telecommunication carrier technologies
such as DS-1, DS-3, OC-3. OC-12, and Gigabit Ethernet.
Knowledge of Technology:
Ø Configuration of routing protocols
Ø Configuration of IP addresses, subnet masks, and gateway
addresses
Ø Configuration of additional administrative functionality
Ø Configuration of VLANS and inter-switch communication
Ø Configuration and Management of system and device configurations
Ability to Troubleshoot:
Ø Utilize the OSI model as a guide for systematic network
troubleshooting
Ø Perform LAN and VLAN troubleshooting
Ø Perform Troubleshooting of basic routing protocols
Ø Perform Troubleshoot IP addressing and host configurations
Ø Perform Troubleshooting of access lists
Ø Perform simple WAN troubleshooting
