Position: Security Engineer

Lucid Security a leading provider of third generation intrusion prevention
products has an outstanding opportunity for an EXPERIENCED professional with
demonstrated experience in analyzing security vulnerabilities and writing
attack protection signatures for our Intrusion Prevention System. As a
developer in the Security Research Group, you will be responsible for gathering
information on emerging threats (such as new worms) and testing signatures to
verify effectiveness will be a critical aspect of this position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Your prior experience must include verifying and discovering potential attack
vectors, proven ability to perform source code analysis and experience writing
exploits and custom fuzzers. You will also be involved in binary/trojan
analysis, debugging and overall code ripping. You must have an overall
familiarity with networking protocols, regular expressions, and intrusion
detection and evasion techniques. You must be a team oriented player with high
energy and the ability to work indepently. Experience in the utilization of the
following security tools, Nessus, Snort, Nmap, Metasploit, Hping, tcpdump and
Ethereal. Professional certification in IT security is highly deseriable
(CISSP, GIAC). We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits program
