Position: Security Architect
Location: Redmond, Washington, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-09-10
This client's Redmond location is looking for an IT Specialist - in Security.
The right individual will be joining an elite group of 16 who basically hold
down the fort in a large, enterprise infrastructure (~10000 employees)-
"Services" department. You'll be acting as a lead on projects and there may be
some direct reports involved as well.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

70% of your work will consist of "Security Mgmt" - which includes the design
and architecture of new security service development; requirements gathering,
business case articulation, vendor/product selection, testing, tech design,
implementation/deployment, migration and documentation - that kind of 'stuff'.
You'll be acting as the lead on a number of these.
You'll serve as the SME on a number of production security technologies as
well. On call support for these.
My client is noted for their innovation in business and technology integration
so they're hoping to find some one who stays current with new security
technologies and trends. Disseminating this info is also needed in order to
evangelize the design of new services.
From a technical perspective Checkpoint and F5 experience is absolutely needed
here - this is where the other 30% comes into play. IDS/IPS, TCP/IP, NAT,
VPN, DMZ and technical writing. Solid Unix experience - Solaris/BSD or Linux
- is also needed. Perl/Shell too...
