Position: Security Consultant
Location: Portsmouth, , United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-09-11
Utilizes expert knowledge of information security practices and technology to
support network security activities. Leads highly complex network security
practices. Acts as principal designer and reviewer for networks security
policies, processes, and technology. Identifies and analyzes technical and or
functional Level 2 problems of high complexity. Leads projects or subprojects
of significant technical complexity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Bachelors or Masters Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent
experience; technical degree preferred. Generally a minimum of 8 years related
experience. Thorough knowledge of network security concepts, strategies and
methodologies as well as practices and procedures; expertise spans multiple
platforms and protocols. Remains current on new and emerging technologies
within the current environment. Highly proficient in information security and
network management tools; expertise in investigatory techniques. Extensive
knowledge of business functions and IT security business issues; extensive
knowledge business objectives and strategies. Strong negotiation, facilitation
and consensus building skills. Strong oral and written communication skills;
presentation skills.
