Position: Security Engineer
Location: Denver, Colorado, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-09-10
This position is primarly responsible for setting up, monitoring,
troubleshooting and maintainig Denver International Airport network security
devices in a Cisco Switched Network. Duties include providing daily, weekly and
monthly incident reports to network manager to satisfy the Airport's IT
internal reporting requirements; performing routine audits/reports of security
platform, policies and procedures; performing routine penetration tests; system
documentation; and performing daily reviews of all security logs. Other duties
include assisting in the planning of network security
upgrades/modifications;implementing of network security upgrades/modifications;
firewall policy modification; recommending and enforcing policy; developing
internal procedures and documentation; liaison with tenants that ride a common
Ethernet backbone infrastructure; VPN and remote access provisioning; incident
handling and reporting; network troubleshooting;
network engineering; review and recommend network architecture changes; review
and recommend security solutions. This is a Security Sensitive position
requiring a background check. Drivers License is required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

BS in Computer Science
CCNP
CISSP
SANS GIAC track certs
Applicant must have a minimum of 8 years in a swithched Ethernet environment
with dedicated network security responsibilities.
Applicant must possess knowledge with Ethernet, Sniffer Pro, Firewalla and
Intrusion Detection/Prevention technologies. Must also be able and willing to
lift up to 50lbs.
