Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Montvale, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-09-11
- Responsible for all ongoing operations of KPMG’s Identity
Management Systems Infrastructure
- Participate in planning and design - focused on management and
supportability
- Establish environmental change control policies and procedures –
non production environments must be managed to accurately mirror production
- Provide policies and procedures for consistent system management and
standards across the global infrastructure
- Implement automated system monitoring solutions across all systems
providing trend analysis
- Perform system audits – providing timely and accurate reports
- Liaise with other network infrastructure services (LAN, WAN, Secuirty,
Firewall, etc)
- Provide incident and problem resolution
- Implement complete failover and DR procedures
- Provide training to other operational staff
- Produce various required system documentation
- Provide administration for operational components (LDAP stores and SQL
databases)
- Optimize automation of all regular operational and administrative
activities
- Implement consistent Quality Assurance controls across all environments
- Defines operational criteria and measures system performance related to
established Service Level Agreements (SLA)
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- High level of technical experience in diverse infrastructure
technologies (e.g. servers, applications, LAN, WAN, internet technologies) with
a minimum of 3-5 years in a Senior position in a large, multi-site organization.
- Experience with some kind of Access Control Application strongly
preferred (IBM/Tivoli Access Manager, Netegrity SiteMinder, etc.)
- Very Strong analytical ability for problem identification and
resolution
- Must possess strong understanding of Windows AD/NT/IIS security
- In-depth understanding of network architectures and protocols, TCP/IP,
DNS, LDAP, SMTP, SSL and Network diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with web based application development and three tier
architecture
- Database administration experience required (SQL/Oralce/DB2/Access)
- Good communications skills, both written and oral
- Highly motivated self-starter: a results/team-oriented person with
initiative who is willing to assume responsibility for all deliverables within
a dynamic and demanding environment
- Ability to multi-task multiple projects simultaneously
