Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-09-10
My client, a Professional Services Firm, is seeking an Application Security
Engineer who has worked with developers and has knowldege of a broad range of
security disciplines including authentication technologies and application
security. You will contribute to maintaining a secure environment during the
design and implementation of a large enterprise application.
Will design and implement security technologies including reverse proxy,
firewall and develop detailed risk assessments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
3-5 years experience in IT security with experience in penentration and
vulnerabilty testing applications. Knowledge of Oracle and database security,
LDAP, web infrastructures, web application, load balancing, Checkpoint NG. Must
perform packet level analysis and understanding of the security issues
associated with all operating systems. Self starter, strong written and verbal
communication skills. BS in Computer Science or related discupline. No
relocation offered - must reside in state of MA.
