Position: Application Security Architect
Location: Ft Lauderdale, Florida, United States
Type: Permanent P/T

Position: IT Security Architect (Windows)
Responsible assisting in the design, testing, implementation and compliance of
Company’s Windows Security architecture. The incumbent will interact with
and/or support various technical groups as well as end-users in the performance
of their duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Key Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 5 years developing and supporting security solutions on the following
platforms: Windows NT (Workstation and Server), and Windows 2000 (Workstation
and Server). This includes system architecture, configuration, monitoring, and
ongoing compliance.
Minimum 1+ year's developing and supporting Quest ActiveRoles Server (formerly
known as Enterprise Directory Manager) and Windows XP and 2003. This includes
system architecture, configuration, monitoring, and ongoing compliance.
Experience with Network Security systems (firewalls, intrusion detection,
vulnerability analysis, etc.); project management.
MCSE certification. Security certifications preferred.
BS Degree Computer Science.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to
communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including Senior Management
and end users.
Must be able to effectively management multiple concurrent projects with high
attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Design and architect Windows security solutions in coordination with IT
Operations and application developers.
Review and distribute Windows security bulletins to IT Operations. Maintain
patch management database.
Systematically review Windows production systems for compliance with security
policies and standards.
Maintain expertise on security trends through training, research and
development in order to mitigate potential security exposures.
Cross-train in Unix security in order to provide redundant support for these
systems.
