Position:       Sales Representative
Location:       Atlanta, Georgia, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

- Effectively target and develop new sales leads to be qualified for 
field-based account executives. 
- This role is responsible for qualifying marketing-driven leads, supporting 
field activities (including back-up customer support), facilitating contract 
renewals, and salesforce.com administration. 
- Will work in team environment with a company Account Executive and Technical 
Account Manager for sales cycle progression and subsequent customer delight. 
- Must be self-motivated and have the agility to overachieve in a highly 
volatile environment. 
- Must proactively stay aware of industry trends and issues. 

Core Competencies: 

- Enterprise sales background focused on one or more of the following desired: 
network security, identity management, enterprise directory, Meta directory, 
provisioning, single sign on, PKI, or digital certificates. 
- Ability to uncover critical business issues and effectively convey value 
proposition 
- Thrives in team-based approach to enterprise selling 
- Industry knowledge (Network Security / Identity Management) 
- Consultative selling skills 
- Innate ability to identify opportunities that haven't been explicitly 
expressed, but exist 
- Working knowledge of salesforce.com, MS Office, Outlook, as well as Internet 
savvy 
- Innovative resourcefulness 
- Comfort with focus on accountability 
- Forecasting and pipeline management 
- "How can I help you?" attitude 
- Strong telephone skills 
- Cross and up-selling skills 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

- B.S. Degree 
- 3+ years sales experience in high tech. 
- Identity management or network security experience a plus. 
- Proven sales success in start-up company a plus.
