Position:       Jr. Security Analyst
Location:       Washington Metro, District of Columbia, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Job Description:

1.Perform analysis of system security plans and technical architecture 
documentation, inspection of test documentation, and independent execution of 
function testing and penetration testing.

2.Evaluate system conformance with the requirements, mission, environment, and 
architecture, as defined in the SSP. 

3.Conduct basic analysis of certification requirements; identify documentation 
necessary to fulfill the requirements.

4.Create, edit, and maintain complex technical and design documentation.

5.Gather information from design specifications, technical correspondence, 
product meetings, and one-on-one interviews.

6.Create, edit, and maintain internal documentation.

7.Review draft materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, 
and content; edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other 
staff members.
 
8.Provide support to the Information Security Review Board by taking and 
issuing minutes, developing the agenda, scheduling VTCs.

9.Additional technical writing projects as assigned. 




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
·Bachelor degree in a related field and 2 to 5 years in technical 
writing or related field. 
·US Citizen (REQUIRED)
·US Government Secret or Top Secret clearance (REQUIRED)
·Demonstrated ability to communicate with and distill information from 
technical resources during formal and informal meetings
·Strong analytical abilities and problem solving-skills
·Familiarity with Federal information system security documentation 
requirements (e.g.,  NIST Special Publications 800-37, 800-53, and 800-30) as 
well as systems design and application specification document
·Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative team 
environment.
·Previous experience with certification and accreditation and cyber 
security policy a big plus 
·PC and desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, 
Microsoft Project, email, etc.)
