Position: Director, Information Security
Location: Manhattan, New York, United States
Type: Permanent P/T
Closing Date: 2005-08-21
The Director of Consulting will lead and expand the regional consulting
practice in NYC. This information security expert will assign and manage teams
of highly skilled security engineers and support staff, and assist in
developing new clients.
A Director of Consulting should have at least 10 years of direct industry
experience, a thorough understanding of the Internet, and experience in risk
assessment and management. Direct management consulting and business
development experience is expected. A clear understanding of business issues,
excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are
required. Experience in the Internet security space is strongly desired.
Identify and develop new clients and professional services engagements.
Maintain technical proficiency, sharing knowledge throughout the firm through
tool development, template enhancements and methodology enhancements. Identify
and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures.
Mentor consultants and peers in new techniques, tools and other job skills.
Manage the professional development of consultants.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years experience
8 years subject field experience (networking/consulting/computer security)
4 year degree required (technical degree preferred)
CISSP certification
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
Snr Manager in Big 4 or equivalent experience desirable
Masters Degree helpful, but not required
MCSE, CCNA/CCIE helpful, but not required
