Position:       Developer
Location:       Boulder, Colorado, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2005-08-25

Webroot&#146;s Threat Research Team needs an analyst to discover computer 
vulnerabilities, spyware, and hacker tools and provide detailed analysis. This 
position involves extensive use with debugging and binary analysis tools 
including IDA Pro, SoftICE, etc. This position requires programming skills in 
C/C++ as well as knowledge of Windows internals.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include research to discover spyware, creating tools and 
algorithms to detect and identify installed malicious software, and identifying 
new distribution methods and techniques for removal.



JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
&#149;  Knowledge of Windows internals
&#149;  Strong programming skills in C/C++
&#149;  Strong network programming background
&#149;  Binary analysis background
