Technology Risk Management Executive
A senior technology risk management executive with deep consulting and
risk/regulatory background.
Overview:
Leads, develops and maintains Technology Risk Management strategy, executes
approach and presents detailed analysis to executive management on the status
of technology risk activity. Acts as a strong leader for employees assigned to
the technology risk management function providing oversight regarding audit,
regulatory and risk management activities across the technology area. Provides
information and interprets results from risk assessment and environmental
monitoring systems for other managers and executives. Works collaboratively
with line of business executives to identify high risk projects/processes and
develops appropriate mitigation approaches. Documents and escalates critical
risks or areas of non-compliance to senior management providing recommendations
for resolution.
Duties:
1. Designs, supervises and executes programs for audit, issues management,
regulatory compliance and risk assessment activities across the technology
environment working closely with Corporate Compliance, Internal Audit,
Corporate Risk Management and various technical teams.
2. Designs, implements and manages reporting and data collection systems to
support the assessment of risks across the technology environment. Develops
analysis and derives trends from data provided by various monitoring systems
and security assessment tools.
3. Develops and maintains methodology for evaluating risk across the technology
organization.
4. Prepares high level reporting on technology risk across the organization for
Senior Management review.
5. Documents technology risk management policy, standards, processes and
procedures for assessment, monitoring, reporting, escalation and remediation.
6. Educates and informs senior management regarding exceptions or risk related
events providing practical recommendations for remediation.
7. Identifies, investigates and leads technology risk analysis efforts as part
of cross-functional teams.
8. Exercises administrative responsibility for team members, consultants and
vendor relationships.
9. Other duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
1) Masters or MBA from accredited university or college and at least 10 years
of experience including 5-7 years of experience in risk management or
information security discipline.
2) Significant experience in systems auditing and information security
management is required.
3) Excellent project management and executive reporting skills
Presentation and business negotiations skills
4) Strong business process and risk analysis skills
Leadership skills
5) Detailed knowledge of financial services regulatory environment and industry
risk management practices
