The Role
Position: Account Manager
Location: Munich and Frankfurt

Key Responsibilities
The Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle within a 
geographic territory and/or named account base to develop business and maximize 
profitability.  The Account Manager is directly responsible for driving a 
defined revenue target for Professional Services consulting.
 
Duties may include:
▪ Develops and executes sales strategy utilizing appropriate INS 
Engineering talent
▪ Maximizes existing client business relationships and maintains a high 
level of customer satisfaction
▪ Generates new sales leads and follows up on leads generated by other 
resources
▪ Qualifies and closes enterprise network centric professional services 
solutions
▪ Contributes to client strategic network life cycle planning.
▪ Collaborates with the Field organization to maximize customer 
satisfaction
▪ Works with Engineering Management to introduce Engineers into an 
account and ensure that they are successful
▪ Works with internal INS accounting staff to resolve any cash collection 
issues



JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills
Business Development Skills
• Excellent presentation, lead qualification and client relationship skills
• Self starter with recent track record of exceeding revenue goals
• Successful background in cold calling and account profiling/penetration 
from the technical to executive level
• Knowledge of the immediate business community and consultative selling

Industry Experience
• Minimum 3 years experience identifying and closing enterprise IT 
solutions (networking preferred)
• Enterprise-focused with a strong local network of contacts at senior or 
C-level in designated territory or segment
• Strong professional sales experience, with proven ability in new 
business and new client acquisition
• Services sales background would be ideal, but strong solution sales 
experience would qualify if that solution had a high degree of services content

Education
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge

Personal Characteristics
• Self starter
• Results-oriented and pro-active
• Able to focus on priorities
• High level of business ethics and integrity
• Able to persuade, influence, and collaborate across the business
• Fluent German and English language skills
• EU citizen or already possessing necessary work permits
• Frankfurt/ Munich based, serving the greater Frankfurt am Main/ Munich 
metropolitan area
