Position: Security Consultant
Location: Manalapan, New Jersey, United States
Type: Contract

CRTGroup has an established Information Security Consulting practice
(CRTSecure) and is currently seeking established and highly professional
security engineers. The prospective candidates must possess expertise in
LAN/WAN, Routing and Switching Technologies, Firewalls (Multi-Vendor)
expertise, VPN Technologies, Application Security, Encryption, Policy
Developement and External Penetration Testing (EVA) experience. Candidate must
also possess excellent presentation, communication and technical documentation
skills. Our team of analysts and consultants work on project teams in all
areas of IT security, from Thread Risk Assessments (TRAs) and Vulnerability
Assessments (VAs) to corporate policy development and establishment of
standards and integration of best practices.
Candidate will work with project teams and resources to ensure that our IT
Security Lifecycles and methodologies are followed as systems, products and
services are designed, built, deployed and upgraded.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating security requirements, safeguards, vulnerabilities, threats and
risks
- Provide risk mitigation strategies
- Participate in project and product development lifecycles by: evaluating
requirements; interviewing stakeholders; providing questions and feedback;
evaluating technical solutions; managing security testing; producing
appropriate reports; and following up on recommendations.
- Integrate best practices into solutions from sources such as COBIT, COSOS,
HIPAA, ISO17799, NIST, and CERT
- Interact with clients and partners as part of the client engagement
lifecycle, evaluating business requirements and analyzing security requirements
- Act as project lead and provide guidance to other team members
