JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are currently looking for a qualified Sr Research Engineer to join our 
Etrust Threat Management team at our offices in Herndon, VA. 

As a Sr.Research Engineer you will be responsible for monitoring private/public 
sources of information for new Spyware. You will correlate threat content to 
industry peers. Qualified candidates will also be responsible for disassembling 
and analysis of Spyware code/exploits. You will design systems detection and 
clean procedures as well as test and validate threat content through lab 
testing. You will also assist development teams to create new spyware detection 
and mitigation measures and provide detailed documentation for content 
descriptions.
Candidates must have 4+ years of proven experience de-compiling program 
executables and analyzing computer systems. Qualified candidates will also have 
working knowledge of x86 assembler, BIOS and DOS interrupts. Experience with 
trade tools and utilities as well as strong knowledge of network traffic 
analysis is a must. Security experience with any one of the following is highly 
desired Windows, UNIX, Transport protocols, and Ethernet technologies.
