Position: Certification & Accreditation Engineer
Location: DC, District of Columbia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-08-20
•Secret clearance
•Must be able to define certification and accreditation (C&A) tasks;
identify critical C&A issues and impacts; and provide solutions for issues
associated with C&A activities.
•Strong working knowledge of security certification and accreditation
policies and procedures under various programs as defined in the DITSCAP, DCID,
DoDIIS, NISCAP, NIACAP, JDCSISSS, FBI and DoJ regulations.
•Conduct IT security assessments at the client site to evaluate systems
and identify vulnerabilities
•Draft, review, and disseminate IT security policy based on clients
security guidelines
•Provide IT security support to our clients
•Write or assist in writing System Security Authorization Agreements
(SSAA) for DITSCAP certification level 1 and 2 systems
•Write or assist in writing System Security Plans (SSP) for different
•Review C&A packages for compliance with DoD, DoN, NSA, DIA, CIA, Marine
Corps and other directives and regulations
•Provide technical support relative to the development and review of all
SSAAs
•Familiarity with these tools will be preferable, Trusted Agent FISMA, SSP
Tool, CSAM Tool, Foundstone Enterprise, and L0phtCrack.
