Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Cranford, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent P/T
Closing Date: 2005-08-20
Our client, a leading systems integrator, has immediate needs for Sr. Security
Engineers.
As a Security/Networking Engineer, you will have primary responsibility for
delivering on-site consulting services to our customers. You will be assigned
to projects that will involve the implementation of network security and
networking technologies into existing or new environments at our customer
sites, primarily in the New York/New Jersey region. Projects will range in
complexity from straight forward to moderately complex.
Specific Responsibilities:
Deliver medium to large size, single or multi-product projects, usually with
multiple computer environments where design can be complex
Deliver security and networking deployment services, integration, security
patch management and other technical services to meet customer needs
Accurately estimate time frames, expertise and duration of resources required
to successfully implement projects
Conduct periodic status reviews with customers and management to assess
progress
Revise project plans and document scope changes, communicate reasons to
customers and management as necessary throughout project
Prepare weekly status reports on all project activities
Develop and deliver professional high quality post-implementation production
support documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with customers as
required
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates must have:
Bachelor's of Science Degree ideally in computer science or equivalent
experience.
Six to nine years expereince with networking services including administration,
support, installation, or related disciplines; consulting experience a plus
Must have datacenter production experience in a corporate infrastructure
Must have Cisco administration, consulting, and/or integration experience
Must have experience with switching, routing, firewall, intrusion
detection/prevention, and/or network load balancing infrastructures
Experience with Netscreen, Enterasys, or F5 a plus
Current Security and Product specific certifications a plus
Experience in architecting and design of complex enterprise solutions
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills and comfort interfacing with
customers
Proven ability to meet designated deadlines utilizing professional business
practices
Demonstrated ability to manage
