Java Server Engineer

Our client is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our 
Server team to design, build, and deploy the infrastructure which supports our 
mobile applications. Strong J2EE and networking skills required. The ideal 
candidate holds an MS in computer science, and has 3-5 years of direct industry 
experience. Our client is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to 
join their Server team to design, build, and deploy the infrastructure which 
supports our mobile applications. Strong J2EE and networking skills required. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
&#149;  Design, build, and deploy the infrastructure which supports our mobile 
applications 
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
&#149;  5+ years of Java J2EE software engineering experience 
&#149;  At least 2+ years working experience with ant, Tomcat, OJB, STRUTS, and 
Jboss
&#149;  Excellent SQL knowledge (mySQL preferred) 
&#149;  JSP, custom tags, servlet expert 
&#149;  Working experience with JMS (OpenJMS preferred) a plus 
&#149;  Experienced using design patterns 
&#149;  Strong command of Linux environment 
&#149;  Interested in leveraging Open Source tools and framework 
&#149;  BS or MS degree in CS 
&#149;  Willing to follow Extreme Programming development methodology, 
including: Develop, maintain and use own unit tests, collective code ownership, 
refactoring 

This is a contract position, 4 months, $55-75/hr depending on experience.
