The mission of the Federal Enterprise Business Manager for the Civilian 
Agencies is to generate new software and services revenue within U.S. Federal 
Civilian Agencies and System Integrators, while enhancing the reputation of 
Guidance Software within those markets. The incumbent will be responsible for 
establishing new and maintain existing client relationships within assigned 
Federal Civilian Agencies and key programs. The incumbent will effectively and 
rapidly assess prospects' and clients' business and technical objectives and 
requirements, articulate effective value propositions, and manage opportunities 
through the government evaluation and procurement processes to successful 
revenue recognition.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

* 7 to 10 years successful experience selling network security software, 
services and solutions to Federal Civilian Agencies and System Integrators. 
* Successful government account sales experience in Federal Civilian Agencies, 
selling directly and through system integrators. 
* Knowledge of the following technologies: Network Security, VPN's, Routing, 
Switching, WANs, and LANs. 
* Ability to develop, write and articulate a strategic account plan. 
* Ability to influence large Federal Agencies, programs and politics. 
* Expert working knowledge of federal business organizational structures and 
buying influences and processes. 
* In depth knowledge of federal terminology, policy, agencies, processes and 
programs. 
* Ability to use the Internet and personal computer solutions to conduct 
business. 
* Experience communicating with technical (IT) and business solutions 
audiences. 
* Ability to foster team orientation with counterparts. 
* Ability to speak with confidence and credibility. 
* Some travel required for remote agency locations and influence points. 
* Success in managing multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks. 
* Highly professional and effective verbal and written communications skills. 
* Excellent ability to use a computer for business purposes, including the 
application of CRMs, and MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, and 
Access). 
* Superior initiative and judgment. 
* Bachelor degree in Business or related subject
