Position: Technical Marketing Engineer
Location: Cupertino, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Technical Marketing Engineer
The Technical Marketing Engineer will have responsibility for technical
competitive analysis, providing significant input for customer and partner
demos, and technical assessment of partner opportunities (e.g., joint value
proposition, product integration potential), supporting the sales team with RFP
responses (backing up the SEs), developing content for white papers and
speaking at technical conferences.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide a detailed assessment of competitive products, develop technical
documents on competitors and communicate sales strategies to sales and SE teams
Provide input into and assist with the development of product demos for SEs
Support the partner team as a technical resource to understand potential
integration models and communicate requirements to engineering
Develop technical white papers and presentations to be leveraged for both
prospects and outbound marketing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Experience:
The candidate must have at least 7-10 years of technical marketing experience
and working with sales and engineering teams. The candidate will have a
background in enterprise software and possess a strong understanding of the
security software market and technology.
Desired Experience:
Candidate will also have strong presentation skills, training or technical
support experience, with a track record of working closely with Engineering and
being able to translate technical customer requirements into product
requirement.
Education:
B.S. degree required, preferably a technical/engineering degree.
