QA Engineer- Agents
ArcSight, Inc. is looking for a Sr. QA Engineer to join the existing QA team in
testing of ArcSight products. Qualified candidates that meet the position
requirements should also have experience working in a fast paced, dynamic and
team oriented environment. This position reports to the QA Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is testing ArcSight Agents on supported security
devices, testing agent content and categorization, filing bug reports and
working closely with other team members in QA, Development and Technical
Publications. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, writing
test cases, interfacing with Technical Support and Professional Services,
attending QA and product related meetings and time management in order to
complete assigned tasks on time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Required Experience:
4+ years of Software Quality Assurance with Enterprise-class software
Strong networking experience under TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL ,etc.
Strong Experience on Unix and Windows operating systems
Strong QA Experience setting up, configuring and testing security devices such
as: Firewalls, HIDS, NIDS, VPN and Vulnerability Scanners
Desired Experience:
Experience testing with standard exploit tools developed under Windows and
Unix.
Experience setting test labs that simulate a real network topology
Experience setting up network management systems such as HP Openview, Tivoli,
CA-Unicenter, etc.
Education:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred).
