Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: central, Wisconsin, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-08-14
Responsible for evaluation and support of security systems\(firewalls, IDS/IPS,
vulnerability scanning, web content protection, VPN), incident response,
monitoring for current security threats and trends, supporting other IT teams
and areas of the business on security issues, and collaboration with the
Information Security team on security solutions and strategy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
BS degree with 4-6 years experience in the IT field with minimum 2-3 years
working with security technologies.
Experience includes but is not limited to:
Basic network routing knowledge.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP Suite.
System administration experience - (Solaris, AIX, Windows 2000/XP/2003)
Good understanding of Information Security theory.
Intermediate level experience and knowledge of firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and
vulnerability/virus scanning technologies, some specific technologies include
Checkpoint, Intrushield, Tripwire, Retina and Saint.
Web application security experience is a plus.
Time management skills, presentation/training skills are a plus.
There are occasional on-call support requirements
