A client of A.C.Coy's is looking for a Network Manager to join their
organization on a fulltime basis in Washington D.C. The Network Manager will
be responsible for the oversite, monitoring, maintenance and management of
Windows NT, Windows 2003 and VAX systems that provide real-time message
profiling using RetrievalWare and Enterprise services using Microsoft
Backoffice applications to a key government offices. The position is both
technical and supervisory requiring the individual to lead a team of five
individuals and to be responsible for staffing and scheduling the 24x7
operations coverage. You will be a key member of the project management team
and will work with the engineering staff in the identification and development
of internal tools and processes required to effectively manage the operations
environment. You will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, managing
and/or accomplishing tasks in the areas of system administration, anti-virus
management, system b
ackups, hardware maintenance, data base management of the messaging systems,
and the troubleshooting of user, system or operations problems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance updated within last 4 1/2 years and recent SCI
access is required. Five (5) years experience as a system administrator in
medium to large scale environment. Three (3) years experience in Windows
NT/2000/2003. Two (2) years as a supervisor. Good interpersonal and
communication skills and exceptional customer interface skills are critical.
Position requires you to develop and document procedures and processes used by
the Operations staff
