Deloitte’s Security Services – Identity Management practice was
specifically created to address our clients’ needs to design and implement
short- and long-term enterprise-wide IdM solutions to realize administrative
cost savings, enhanced security, and improved service levels during
organizational change and enterprise application implementations. We have
performed IdM work for major financial services organizations, governments, and
industrial and service firms across the world. Our Security Services practice
consists of approximately 700 professionals nationally, approximately half of
them specializing in IdM related services.
Deloitte Identity Management practitioners have extended hands-on experience
with IdM solution design, configuration, and testing, as well as IdM solution
reviews and analysis. In addition to IdM-specific abilities, our Identity
Management practitioners also have in-depth knowledge of overall security
architecture, design, configuration, and infrastructure and application builds
across most major industries.
To allow for seamless global engagements, our IdM projects follow proven
Deloitte methodologies that have been developed based on industry standard
practices and incorporate our collective experience serving our clients. We
have also invested heavily in developing our IdM capabilities by constantly
developing, testing, and refining our methodologies to provide high-quality and
cost-effective services.
We continually develop our Identity Management practitioners and continually
recruit the best professionals from industry with practical experience in
identity management, as well as overall security services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking individuals with 3+ years of technical Identity Management
experience that have the capability to design and implement complex IdM
solutions, consisting of the following high-level responsibilities:
• Gather and understand overall client IdM business
requirements/objectives
• Ability to analyze and understand client environment and architecture
• Develop enterprise-wide IdM solutions and framework
• Design and configure IdM components
• Test and troubleshoot IdM components
• Ability to develop custom deliverables and reports to meet client
business requirements
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
 3+ years of related experience in Identity Management, 5+ years
of overall Information Technology/Security experience
 Proven technical experience in Identity Management solutions
and components, including:
• Resource Provisioning
• Access Management – Web and / or Client / Desktop Integration
• Identity / Directory Integration
• Auditing / Reporting
• Role Based Access Control
• Federated Identity
 Proven technical experience in at least one of the following:
• ERP applications (PeopleSoft / Oracle, SAP, BAAN, JDEdwards, etc.)
• Database management (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, SQLServer, Ingres, etc.)
• Identity Management solutions/products (Computer Associates, Netegrity,
Oblix, IBM, Sun One / Waveset, Novell, Courion, BMC, etc.)
• Directory packages (IBM SecureWay LDAP, Sun One / iPlanet, Novell
eDirectory, Computer Associates eTrust Directory, Microsoft Active Directory,
etc.)
• Network operating systems (Active Directory, Unix, Linux, Windows, etc.)
 Ability to take a broad view of his/her position and take
initiative to communicate, interact, and cooperate with others to ensure that
all aspects of a task are addressed
 Strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional
responsibilities
 Strong written, oral, and presentation skills suitable to both
technical and management level client personnel.
 Strong technical programming background (J2EE, C++, JAVA, XML,
PERL, etc.)
 Open to travel requirements
 Supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities
a plus
 BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science,
Accounting, and Information Systems is a plus
 Related industry and product certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM,
Cisco Certified, Sun Certified, etc.) a plus
