Position: Training / Awareness Specialist
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-08-12
The development, management, coordination and maintenance of the Information
Security Training and Awareness Initiatives.
Define and design the training and awareness plans, define schedules.
Work with internal and external sources to develop training and awareness
materials.
Coordinate and manage the development, communication, execution maintenance and
delivery of training and awareness classes and materials.
Maintain current in regulatory and governance efforts and keep abreast of
trends in the industry.
Develop methods to track/provide analysis reports and metrics for training and
awareness and benchmarks to peer firms
Assist in the definition and development of Risk packs.
Maintain the Information Security Training and Awareness Web Site.
Work effectively across a large information security team, understanding the
larger team’s role (network, platform and monitoring) in the overall
security strategy of the firm.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Five plus years experience with training program development, program
management and maintenance a must.
Five years prior experience in information security, risk or related fields
preferred.
Ability to work independently, be motivated, possess strong communications and
interpersonal skills as well as organizational skills.
A proven ability to lead projects and wide-ranging change initiatives.
Project management experience is a must.
Proven ability with Microsoft Office, HTML programming, data analysis and
presentation.
Bachelor’s and Master's degree preferred. Industry certifications such as
CISSP, CISM, etc. desirable but not necessary.
