Position: Security Consultant
Location: Aiken, South Carolina, United States
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2005-07-29
Professional and established software development consultancy has immediate
need for someone with their MCSD and has completed the 70-330 and 70-340
electives for a consulting assignment as an Applications Security Analyst.
This position is very hot and will be starting the interview process the week
of July 11th, 2005.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
MCSD certification including successful completion of the security electives
70-330 and 340.
Must have extensive expertise with Java, VB.NET, Visual SourceSafe,
configuration, Web Services and be the resident subject matter expert in all
things applications and security related. This individual will be the go-to
consultant for this critical project.
Consultant Job Functions:
Apply application security fundamentals:Implement security features at design
time.Use secure coding best practices,test applications for vulnerabilities.
Using the .NET Framework: Take advantage of platform security capabilities and
implement role-based and code-access security measures,help maintain resistance
to attack during deployment and protect data and networked applications:Use
cryptography techniques,harden ASP.NET applications and minimize risk when
using external components and services.
