Position:       Director, Information Security
Location:       Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
Type:           Permanent P/T

Great opportunity to build a security program from the ground up while working 
for a division of an extremely stable Fortune 100 company. Excellent benefits,

Information Security will be responsible for ensuring appropriate and 
consistent security programs are implemented, administered and maintained 
within all business units and affiliates. 

The Director will develop, direct the implementation of, and oversee company 
wide security policies, procedures and initiatives. 
This position will have overall security decision making authority for:
Computer Security and Information Security
Physical Security and Facility Security
Loss Prevention and Safeguarding Programs
Personnel Security programs in conjunction with HR
Security related incident response and Investigations
Security Awareness Training

The Director will identify security improvement strategies, opportunities for 
centralization, and recommendations for consolidation of security processes, 
services, purchases or operations that will save money, improve security and 
streamline organizational efficiencies. 




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
A minimum of 12 to 15 years progressive experience working in Information 
Security at a Manager or Director level with responsibility for security at 
multiple site locations. Must have an excellent understanding of Information 
Security, Information Technology and Security Operations. Must have a good 
working knowledge of multi-platform security, system security, network and 
distributed systems security, firewalls, IDS, anti-virus systems and 
assessement tools.
Must have both direct reports and matrix managed staff management experience. 
Must have experience developing and mentoring junior staff, conducting 
performance reviews and developing staff training programs.
A minimum of 10 years experience conducting security assessments, technology 
reviews and application requirements analysis from a security design 
perspective. The ability to clearly document and present findings as well as 
improvement opportunities. 
Proven project management and leadership skills and experience with SDLC as it 
applies to Information Security.
Must understand information security concepts, protocols, industry best 
practices and strategies. Experience with industry regulatory requirements and 
working with internal and external audit staff is required. 
Experience developing policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. 
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the 
ability to communicate effectively with project and application development 
teams, management and clients is a must
Must have experience in physical and operational security, including facility 
access control systems, premise protection, guard force management and CCTV 
systems.
A minimum of 6 years experience conducting both operational and cyber 
investigations.
