Position: Security Architect
Location: North West England, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-07-12
Our client is one of the world’ s leading business and technology
solutions services firms.
The position is for an experience security architect to provide technical
leadership on Government projects. The applicants should be prepared to provide
technical leadership within a team, where they will be responsible for
producing high level system designs in consultation with the customer or
partners as appropriate. An ability to design the security aspects of a system
is a key skill.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

· you MUST be located in the UK and a UK resident.
. AT LEAST 6 years experience of producing system designs from customer
requirements, including infrastructure, applications and security aspects.
· AT LEAST 6 years experience of producing security architectures from
customer requirements.
· AT LEAST 4 years experience of Government projects, particularly in
the operational systems arena.
· Commercial awareness bid writing skills
· Experience of providing technical leadership for technical teams.
· Experience of design of domain-based security architectures for the
operational environment knowledge of commercial firewall products.
· Knowledge and experience of security infrastructure components
(Firewalls, Guards, Intrusion Detection, Content Scanning, Secure O/S)
· Unix/NT/W2003/XP background
· Knowledge of Web Services Security
