DESCRIPTION
Reports to the Vice President of Professional Services

Our Client stops confidential information, including customer data and 
intellectual property from being sent via email and other Internet 
communications. Our Client helps customers significantly reduce financial risk, 
protect brand reputation and demonstrate compliance.  Our Client is a 
revenue-stage company led by a strong team of successful entrepreneurs. The 
company has received $25M in funding to date.

We are looking for senior candidates from major consulting firms and/or 
software companies with pre-sales, enterprise software, and network experience 
as well as excellent customer-facing skills.

RESPONSIBILITES
Pre-Sales
•  Provide deep product and industry expertise to support the Sales team 
(sales calls, demonstrations, technical discussions, business case)
•  Engage with the customers to develop and present our proposals
•  Plan and execute on Risk Assessment projects (sales/pilot projects)
•  Help close license and services contracts
Implementation
•  Understand customers' requirements and their technical/network 
architecture
•  Specify the technical approach and design
•  Install and configure the Our Client solution
•  Provide business consulting/advise on the rollout
Project management
•  Develop the project plan and own the day-to-day execution of the project
•  Manage the project scope, team, status reporting, issues, and budget
•  Support customers and partners in their delivery efforts
Training
•  Plan the specific training sessions
•  Deliver training to the customers, partners, and Our Client employees
•  Work with the Training Manager to schedule, design, and provide the 
right training; also provide feedback to the training program
Post-implementation account management/support
•  Work with the Support Manager to guide the customers through product 
updates and upgrades as necessary
•  Perform periodic customer and system "health checks"
•  Manage the customer reference-ability and on-going relationship
Customer requirements/feedback
•  Solicit and capture customers' requirements and feedback
•  Work with the Marketing and Engineering teams to process and manage 
customers' inputs
•  Participate in Customer Advisory Board and other customer-related events
Practice development
•  Develop the tools, knowledgebase, and infrastructure to run and manage 
Professional Services
•  Recruit and interview candidates

REQUIREMENTS
•  5+ years experience in pre-sales and/or professional services from a 
major consulting firms (PwC, Accenture, KPMG, IBM GS, Deloitte, CSC, et al) or 
enterprise software companies
•  Experience working directly with customers in pre-sales, project 
management, and technical delivery roles
•  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (presentation, verbal, 
and written)
•  Strong enterprise software experience and networking background
•  Candidates must be able to perform technical tasks such as:
-       Install and configure enterprise software, e.g. Oracle
-       Diagnose network problems in production environments
-       Design network deployment architectures
•  Security certifications are a plus e.g. CISSP, CCNA, and/or CISA
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•  Passion for customer service and success
•  Able to travel extensively in the region
•  Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or sciences
