IT Security Technical Manager
We are currently seeking a talented IT Security Technical Manager for our San
Antonio, TX office to provide leadership and direction for the utilization of
hardware, software and personnel resources. While offering oversight of the
unit's commitments for information technology design and delivery services to
USAA customers, you will provide work assignments and prepare performance
reports. This position is typically a first line manager of technical
professionals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
· BS or BA in Information Systems or related field
· Ten years of information security experience in a corporate
setting
· Experience in providing leadership, direction and training on
corporate information security goals and initiatives
· Ability to engage and drive forward projects in a
multi-functional environment
· Presentation experience to management on protection of
information
· Ability to act as a liaison and discovery activity with
internal business groups, as well as to interact with third-party vendors,
suppliers and contractors
· Ability to work in a team atmosphere
· Availability to travel to support corporate initiatives
In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will also have:
· Familiarity and experience with ISO 17799 standards in
corporate setting
· CISSP or similar information security certification
· Work experience in a financial or regulated environment and
understanding of SOX, GLB and HIPPA
· Knowledge and understanding of information classification schema
