Position: Security Auditor
Location: London and countrywide, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-07-11
One of the big 4 has a requirement for a Consultant to join their financial
services practice. This is a client-facing role looking at technology risks as
part of financial services audits. Your main responsibilities include providing
support to external audit teams in the provision of IT controls reviews. You
will manage smaller engagements, including planning and scoping, resourcing and
staff management. You will carry out risk and control assessments and prepare
reports and memos. Other duties include assisting in the preparation of client
proposals and setting up and completing working papers and delivering these to
accepted internal control standards. You must have risk and control environment
experience and 3+ years experience in IT audit in either financial services or
big 4 environments. You will have a good understanding of platform related
technical issues (eg security) and the ability to identify assess IT risks and
controls. Excellent communications and client-fac
ing skills are a prerequisite.
