Position: Security Consultant
Location: Chicago , Illinois, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-07-15
Candidate will lead the delivery of client projects with the primary
responsibility for the technical assessment of enterprise information systems
infrastructures at the network, host and application level. In addition, the
candidate is responsible for independently identifying, assessing and
responding to client’s security related issues and challenges as they
arise. Must have a broad knowledge of current IT security related trends and
be able to proactively identify potential security issues in order to advise
and consult clients on web application architecture, security monitoring and
mitigation strategies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or
related discipline required, Graduate Degree preferred. CISSP, CISA, CCNA or
GIAC certifications preferred. Security product certifications a plus.
Experience and Skills:
6-8 years of technical security experience in the security aspects of multiple
computer platforms, operating systems, software products, network protocols and
system and web application architecture.
Knowledge of security architecture methodologies, Industry best practices and
generally accepted information security principles.
Advanced, in-depth knowledge and experience in Web application and Internet
based security assessments.
Demonstrated skills in assessing against and addressing complex web
architecture requirements.
Maintains relationships with client management to manage expectations of
service including work products, timing, and value to be delivered.
Advanced written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated
mastery of security consulting at the senior technical and management levels.
Ability to formulate and communicate highly technical and complex security
concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective
manner.
Other Requirements:
Travel: Ability to travel 50-75%
