Position: Auditor
Location: Miami, Florida, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-07-11
Leading, dynamic professional services company is seeking top talent who are
not afraid of a challenge or of success. They are looking for additional
quality people who want to contribute to the continued success of a growing
practice in Miami. Local candidates given preference. Will consider relo for
right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Work within multidisciplinary teams delivering value-added business services
to clients in the Industrial, Chemicals, Consumer, Financial, and Energy markets
* Document and evaluate internal controls for compliance with the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act
* Help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and
related processes
* Provide high quality professional day-to-day management of client projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Experience in business process improvement and/or Sarbanes-Oxley 404 projects
is preferred
* Strong analytical skills and experience in design and evaluation of business
processes and internal controls are also required
* Should have strong IT auditing and technical skills related to information
security penetration studies, security administration, security risk
assessment, IT architecture development, firewall design, ERP implementations,
design, and security controls
* Excellent communication skills (both oral & written)
* SAP Audit experience a MAJOR PLUS
* Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge, and the
ability to write at a "publication" quality level to communicate findings and
recommendations to the client's senior management team are essential
* An entrepreneurial motivation and a desire to grow professionally in a broad
and ever-changing marketplace is a must
* Previous employment and experience at an assurance and tax services firm is
preferred
* IS or functional/operational auditing experience is a plus
* BS Degree Required
* CPA (or equivalent) is preferred
* CISA preferred
* Accounting background a big plus
Manager and Sr. Manager opportunities also available & require demonstrated
ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business, and build
lasting professional relationships with C level executives.
