Act as an interface between Sales organization and Technical staff to resolve outstanding issues. Assist in closing business in regional territories through field visits to major account prospects. Perform product demos at customer and partner sites. Provide reporting on customer account and field activities to Sales, product Management and Engineering. Conduct technical client meetings and provide written and verbal communication to the client. Work closely with customer in the design and implementation/integration of the product. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Education: Bachelors degree in technical discipline or equivalent related experience. Experience: 3+ years experience as a field support engineer calling on resellers and corporate customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience with a software vendor or software reseller. Experience conducting product training for resellers and customers. In-depth knowledge of best practices for hardware systems implementation. Willing to travel. Strong background in presentation skills to resellers, end users and large audiences. Strong commitment to customer loyalty/satisfaction. Experience in installation and configuration of network security products such as firewalls, anti-virus or intrusion detection systems. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows NT/2000 operating environments as well as a strong overall understanding of complex computer networking environments, large-scale systems integration projects and software deployments. Experience with Solaris or Linux, security solutions such as Proxies, Firewalls and/or caching hardware is hig hly desirable.
