Position:       Technical Writer
Location:       DC, Washington, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2005-07-15

Technical Writer with a concentration on Security and Systems:

·Experience reviewing and understanding systems security documentation 
to include:
1.System Security Plans
2.Continuity Of Operation Plans
3.Technical Architectures
4.Configuration Management Plans
5.Risk Assessments
6.Systems Design and application specification documents
7.Formatting System Security Scan results into reports

 Experience in understanding and documenting technical concepts (design, 
implementation, user guides, etc.) for a non-technical audience, ideally for 
security and software development projects
· Demonstrated ability to communicate with and distill information from 
technical resources during formal and informal meetings
· Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software 
development project/technology terminology
· Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills to ensure 
efficient and consistent technical documentation



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, information 
systems/security, computer science or related field
· US Citizen (REQUIRED)
· Able to obtain a Security Clearance
· Strong MS Office and Adobe products skills
· Excellent writing and oral communication skills
· Self motivated and able to work in an independent  manner or as part 
of a team
· Able to work in a fast pace deadline driven environment

Security Certifications a PLUS! E.g. CISSP, CISA, IAM, Etc.
