Position:       Information Assurance Engineer

Mid-Level Security Engineer (NIST/ U.S. Federal Government)

You will serve on a team of systems security experts and systems auditors, 
evaluating systems security controls and developing certification and 
accreditation (C&A) documents to include:
Security Questionnaires
System Security Plans
Risk Assessments
Contingency Plans
Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPS)
Configuration Management Plans
Security Policies
Plans of Actions and Milestones
Security Training

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Requirements include:
Experience evaluating, auditing, and documenting Federal or Commercial 
Information systems using NIST methodologies and guidelines. 
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related 
technical field
• 5-10 years of information technology security experience 
• U.S. citizenship (Required)
• Applied experience implementing various security mechanisms for multi 
platforms and operating systems
• A basic understanding of the ten domains of security.
• Extensive knowledge in government security regulations (e.g., NIST 
Special Publications) 
• Excellent customer service skills
• Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong organizational and conceptual skills 
• Self-starting and self-motivating
• Ability to adjust to changing focus and/or priority as well as the 
ability to successfully multi-task and set priorities as needed.
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
• CISSP or CISA certification
