Position: Manager, Information Security
Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

I am currently conducting a search for a Manager of Security Compliance and
Communications for a Fortune 100 company. This person will be responsible for
safeguarding the confidential information, assets and intellectual property
which belong to and/or are processed by the Organization. This person will be
responsible for the development and implementation of security strategies and
processes that support compliance management, security standards and policies,
communications, awareness and forensics. They will be responsible for the
implementation of Managed Security Services and coordinating with external
service providers. They will be responsible for the development and
integration of compliance, security awareness & communications and forensics
programs and will be the lead for all such activities.
This person must understand security needs for the organization globally and
develop awareness and communication of the security environment within the
global organization. This person will provide technical leadership for the
design, deployment and operation of security management software and hardware
devices including, but not limited to: compliance, security audit management,
security awareness/communications, etc. Lead the compliance and communications
team within Global Infrastructure and apply forensic investigation techniques
to document root cause and impact of information security incidents. Partner
with Global security to support requirements for business areas, legal, privacy
and human resources. Manage relationship with external security management
provider(s). Perform information security assessments or audits of internal
networks and systems. Develop information security policies and practices.
Ensure project compliance of SLC. Recruit, develop and ret
ain a set of diverse talent to support the organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have a BS in computer Science or related degree, or equivalent
training and experience. Must have a minimum of 12 years overall Information
Systems experience and a minimum of 7 years in Information Security. A working
knowledge of platforms including Windows, Unix/Linux, oracle, TCP/IP,
voice/data networks, internet/intranet, routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN
connectivity. Must have experience with incident response procedures, forensic
techniques, security compliance strategies, and enterprise information security
standards and policies, risk assessment principles (Foot printing, scanning,
enumeration, identifying & Mitigating Risks) Must have ability to lead small
teams of high-performance professionals with direct or indirect matrix
relationships. Must have demonstrated Project Management skills. Must be
assertive, energetic, self-motivated, results oriented, and team focused.
