SiegeWorks International (http://www.siegeworksint.com/) has an immediate 
need to hire 3 individuals with hands-on experience in IT and network 
security, to fill either of two roles described below. 

These are full-time W-2 positions and include benefits. Candidates can be 
located can be located most anywhere in North America. Both roles involve a 
mix of travel and remote work. 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

POSITIONS: Security Software Engineer - Application Focus 
Security Software Engineer - Network Focus 

DESCRIPTION 

Background Desired (for either position) 

Years: 
3-5 years as a 
Security software engineer 

Education: 
BA/BS degree in management information systems, computer science, or another 
technology-related field of study 

Certifications Desired: 
CISSP: Certified Information System Security Professional. 
CISM: Certified Information Security Manager. 

Skills and Competencies 

FOR Application Security focus 
* Can design and execute application penetration tests to reveal 
security weaknesses, and recommend remediation strategies 
* Can work with leading application security test tools 

FOR Network Security focus 
* Can create and analyze security policies and security architecture, 
design secure network topologies to implement associated process controls 
* Can analyze network diagrams for security weaknesses. 
* Can analyze Vulnerability Assessment and test tool such as SING, NMAP 
and ISS and VM products to determine if the test is and results are valid 

FOR BOTH Application and Network focus: 
Web Server 
* Can examine web server data to determine security weaknesses. 
Project Management 
* Can create and deliver to estimate, using excellent time-management 
skills, while upholding proper legal and ethical testing standards 
Best Practices and Testing 
* Can follow the security tester's Rule of Engagement, industry best 
practices and accepted conduct. 
Team Work and Management 
* Can work alone, as a member of a highly collaborative team, or under 
supervision. 
* Can work with an efficient red team to accomplish the project 
requirement. 
* Self-motivated learner who keeps abreast of current security issues 
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 

* Performs a variety of complicated tasks. 

* May lead and direct the work of others.
