Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: San Jose, California, United States

Computer Scientist - Application Security Engineer
In this position you will apply state-of-the-art techniques to locate and
correct possible vulnerabilities in a large advanced document processing
system. You’ll identify and implement solutions that correct buffer
overruns, and remedy problems due to privacy attacks via APIs and denial of
service attacks. Your strong customer orientation and ability to understand
customer usage scenarios and deployment issues will play a key role in your
success.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Expert C++ and Java programming experience
XML and XML technology including XSLT, XPath, XForms, SVG, XHTML
PDF very desirable
Knowledge of buffer overruns, privacy attacks via APIs, denial-of-service
attacks, threat assessment and approaches to achieving a high level of
reliability.
Strong problem solver and history of making positive contributions to complex
projects.
MS or Ph.D plus 5 years experience
