Software Development Engineer Test

Do you have what it takes to create the most secure and highest quality 
products at Microsoft? Want to get in on the ground floor of something new and 
help chart the course and influence the architecture for version 1.0 of a brand 
new Microsoft product and business? 

We are focused on building a suite of new Microsoft products and businesses in 
the security space which complement each other and work well with each other 
and with other Microsoft and third-party products to provide customers 
unprecedented visibility, control and confidence in the security of their 
Microsoft network. We're looking for strong individual contributors who have 
the technical skills and passion for product quality, security and performance 
to help test and deliver on a winning product plan. Responsibilities will 
include driving portions of the end-to-end testing effort of key components. 
The SDE/T responsibilities include participating in Product Architecture and 
Design reviews, analyzing the customer requirements, developing feature tests 
plans and a comprehensive list of test cases to ensure the feature/product 
receives complete test coverage, developing solid test tools to aid the 
End-to-End team and making them reusable across teams and/or features, automatin
 g test suites for features owned by the individual, aid in feature automation 
and tool development across the End-To-End team where applicable. In addition, 
the candidate is responsible for ensuring tight integration with Windows XP/ 
Windows 2003 Server/LH technologies as well as other strategic Microsoft 
initiatives. 


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Qualifications: 3 years minimum testing. Candidates must posses strong coding 
skills (C, C++, C#, XML, SQL is a plus), seasoned experience in debugging and 
experience driving a feature through the development/ship cycle. Candidates 
should have experience handling multiple releases simultaneously. Excellent 
written and oral communication skills. Proven effectiveness working cross 
teams/disciplines. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated technical 
leadership skills and experience in developing and implementing test 
strategies.
