Regional Account Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Webroot’s products, 
partners and markets
•  Develop and execute sales strategy utilizing Webroot team members & 
corporate resources
•  Generate sales leads and coordinate demonstrations, proposals & 
contract negotiations  
•  Cultivate and develop channel partners from a novice to a competent 
partner level
•  Qualify opportunities and move them through the sales process including 
closing sales
•  Establish executive level relationships within account base
•  Manage all aspects of sales cycle in geographic territory to maximize 
profitability

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•  4+ years selling enterprise-class software solutions and executing 
major account strategies 
•  Developing new accounts from initial cold call to close
•  Knowledge of multiple platforms in correlation with Security solutions, 
competitors and market landscape is required
•  Ability to build and manage a small team to satisfy the customer and 
achieve quota
•  Demonstrated and consistent over achievement of 2 million dollar quotas
•  Experience selling computer software or systems including security 
products (firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection, content security, and 
anti-SPAM technologies) desired

Qualified candidates will be proven executive-level sales professionals with a 
strong working knowledge of selling solutions to the Fortune 1000. Candidates 
must understand the business and process fundamentals of being successful with 
high-ticket security solution/compliance sales and have a proven track record 
of success building C-level relationships.
